I have been deputed to undergo a three day training at Kumarakom Palace Conference Boat from September 24-26. The training program is on ' Leadership Skills for Effective Management' and is being conducted by Sterling Institute of Corporate Conferences & Events, Kerala (http://www.sterlingeventsindia.com/). And I am so jealous that you went on training aboard a houseboat.

The houseboat experience was just out of this world! Vembad is mother of all lakes,100 km stretch and flowing into the arabian sea. I'll be uploading some pics soon.

thats a lovely piece of nostalgia....i completely agree with you ..those were special times when we were growing up esp. cause there was no tv...life was simpler and childhood was full of innocence..alas there is no turning back ...one can only try to educate ones kids in simplistic ways but will life ever be so unadulterated ?nothing compares to that. :::
